You’ll then receive a link to securely fill out an intake form asking questions about yourself and your therapeutic goals. Before the intake session, we’ll send you an email with a link to our secure online therapy platform. To make sure everything runs smoothly for our session, you can log in a few minutes early. This will give you time to adjust your video settings, get comfortable, and make sure you’re all set before we begin.
We understand that finding a completely private space for online therapy isn’t always easy. If privacy at home is a concern, you’re not alone. Many people find that having sessions from their car, an individual library room, or even a peaceful park (weather permitting) works well. And if finding a truly private space feels challenging, please don’t hesitate to talk to your therapist so they can help you explore alternative options.
