Registered Counselling Therapist

Therapist for Teens and Adults

I help teens and adults find their next step forward when they're feeling weighed down by anxiety, stress, or depression. Many of my clients face challenges in school, work, relationships, or identity, making it hard to enjoy life. They often feel burned out and overwhelmed, held back by self-doubt and shame.

What I Can Help You With

Life can be tough. I understand, and I’m here to help. Together, we'll figure out who you are, who you want to be, and how to get there. In our sessions, we’ll explore the challenges and wins that have shaped you, so you can build confidence, gain insight, and move forward with purpose.

My Approach to Therapy

Through evidence-based approaches like narrative, solution-focused, and collaborative therapy, we'll work through what’s holding you back and what’s weighing you down. Whether you're facing a specific issue or simply feeling stuck, I'll help guide you on your path toward happiness.

My Experience

As a queer and trans therapist, I offer affirming and compassionate care, backed by over a decade of experience providing therapy to teens and adults. I currently serve as the Clinical Director at Insight Mental Health Counselling, with previous roles as a Counsellor at Dalhousie University and a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician for the BC government. Notably, my master’s thesis, which explored mental illness and identity, was nominated for a Governor General’s Award.
